Have It All! – Are you getting everything you want out of life?
Whoever says money can’t buy happiness is fooling themselves. Money enables us to spend more time doing fun things with those we love. Money enables us to make a positive difference in the lives of others. Money makes it possible to find cures for kids’ Cancer’s. Money is the reason so many people from all over the world want to come to America and live the American dream. And, many of those people make much more money once they do.
I love reading stories about people who started with nothing and have attained great lives for them and their families. Gurbaksh Singh Chahal moved to the United States when he was 3 years old and did not have a lot of money. Today, he is worth tens of millions of dollars and can afford to make many good things happen.
MJ DeMarco moved from Chicago to Phoenix with less than $1,000 in his pocket and lived in a little studio apartment while he built his company. Today, he is worth tens of millions of dollars and has the financial ability to make a positive impact in many people’s lives.
The American dream is available to every single person who lives in the United States and yet so many take it completely for granted and don’t strive to attain as much as they could. I believe it is our duty to create as much abundance as we can and to help as many others as we can. What do you do with your talents? Leo Buscaglia said, “Your talent is God’s gift to you. What you do with it is your gift back to God.”
There is so much opportunity out there. It is just waiting for people to go get it. Look around you. Everything you see has opportunity attached to it in some form or fashion. Perhaps you are just looking at an empty field. That field could be a crop for a farmer. That field could house a massive apartment complex that many people would enjoy living in. Maybe you are looking at a power pole as you are traveling down the highway. Think about how many people made their income in some manner with that pole from the time it was a tree up until the time it finally had electricity flowing through its lines.
The possibilities are endless. All it takes is some thought and a massive amount of action. A major problem is people don’t dream big enough. If you haven’t read The Magic of Thinking Big by Dr. David Schwartz or The 10x Rule by Grant Cardone, you should read them both. In 10X, Grant talks about we all need to set our sights higher. He goes on to pose the question, “If you fall short of your goal, would you rather have initially set your goal at $100,000 or $1 million dollars? The larger one of course, right?
Yesterday, I was showing one of my best friends a $3 million dollar, lake-front home in Spicewood, Texas. He knows I cannot afford a $3 million dollar home (as of yet, anyway!). His response was, “Yes, it’s a nice house but why in the hell are you even looking at it? You can’t afford it. You will never be able to afford that. (See how his mindset is stuck in the current?) Why would you want a home that big anyway? Blah, blah, blah, blahdddey, blah blah” He went on to say his plan is to sell his very nice home and retire in a double-wide. He thinks like this because he doesn’t know what he doesn’t know and he isn’t interested in entertaining any possibilities with an open mind.
That’s a bad frame of mind to be stuck in. That’s being stuck in a rut. If you think like that, you can quickly and easily change it just pouring more positive energy into your mind through books and podcasts and making a conscious decision to go after life with gusto!
Hopefully, my buddy will read this some day and do just that. I absolutely hate to see people just settle for the status quo in life. Get out there mix it up! Get out there and make it happen!
When I was growing up, my mom always said, what you put in to your mind is what will come out. The old “Garbage in, garbage out” adage. And she was 100% right. The books I read (and listen to on Audible) continue to drive me to continue to achieve more and more. They teach me the art of Advance Dynamix.
I’ve come a long way but I have a ton more to accomplish before my time is up. One thing is for certain, I have ZERO interest in selling my home to downsize to a double-wide! Advance Dynamix is a way of life. I’m extremely driven. I will always continue to learn more and I will always continue to do more. I will always continue to ROCK IT!
You have to have goals. You have to first figure out exactly what those goals are. Make sure they are good goals, really good goals. Write them down. Visit them often. Some guys say every day, some guys say once a week. Whatever you decide, visit them a LOT. Hell, hang them up on your office or bathroom walls! Don’t lose sight of what they are.
Don’t just settle for what you know you can attain. Aim for the stars! Imagine if Roger Bannister would have started that race with the mindset that it was impossible to run a mile in under four minutes. He would have just finished the race as a status-quo runner. But NO! He was a dreamer and look where it got him. Seventy years later, we are STILL talking about him. Why? Because he set his goals past what he was certain he could achieve.
“People say I’m a dreamer but I’m not the only one.” ~ The Beatles
Mindset and attitude make all the difference in the world. Zig Ziglar used to call it “Stinkin’ Thinkin’.” Many people are so negative and most don’t even realize it! Start paying attention to what you think and say. Is there negativity seeping out of your mind? If there is, you can and should do something about it. That’s not healthy whatsoever and it certainly isn’t conducive to your advancement.
Additionally, start paying attention to the negativity that spews from those around you. Once you begin to see it, it is unbelievable. It’s everywhere. It’s really sad. People with that mindset are stuck. And, what’s worse, they don’t even know it. I truly believe there is an upside to just about everything. The trick is finding that upside. Approach your setbacks with an, “it could’ve been worse” attitude. As you make a conscious effort to see the sunshine on the other side of the cloud, you will truly enjoy life more.
The more negative a person is, the more unhappy they are. And, usually, they aren’t nearly as successful as they could be. Some people just like to bitch and complain about anything and everything. One of the guys I work with has a negative attitude about absolutely everything. It doesn’t matter what it is, he has a negative response.
It’s really hard to stomach sometimes. You see negativity in the comments of just about any blog-post or news article you read. I see it in the comments of the content I generate all the time. And yet, the interesting thing is, they are here because the concept of learning Advance Dynamix was of interest to them. Obviously, they haven’t attained everything they want out of life yet or they wouldn’t have been here to begin with and unfortunately, they don’t realize their attitude will continue to hold them back.
Grant Cardone says bring on the haters. Grant says the more haters your business can generate, the more successful it will be. I say, like the husk on an ear of corn, the bad part just falls away but the end result is well worth it.
I heard someone say the other day that negativity is just human nature. Really!?! That’s sad. You’ve heard “If it’s to be, it’s up to me.” Well, it’s true. The one thing that changed everything in my business was making a conscious decision to take my business extremely seriously. As I have said before, I dabbled and played around with different business models and strategies in the past but never really took any of them seriously.
Once I changed that mindset, everything else changed too. Just like anything else, there is going to be ups and downs. Unfortunately, most people drop the ball and run away at the first downturn they come to. In reality, what they should be doing instead is tucking that ball in, putting their head and running full-steam ahead like their life depends on it. THAT is how they will finally break through and begin to achieve the success they are after.
Most people think businesses hire people with degrees because of the knowledge they acquired during their stint in school. While that may be somewhat true, the bigger reason is because they have demonstrated they aren’t quitters. They could have left that school and quit paying exorbitant amounts of money anytime they wanted and yet they stuck to their guns and made it happen.
Don’t misunderstand me. Finishing college does not make someone better than someone who didn’t in any way whatsoever. I finished college with a Master’s but I know a ton of people who are much smarter and more successful than I am who did not ever even begin, let alone finish college. What it does indicate is that I am not a quitter. However, college graduation wasn’t necessary to indicate that. Had I never went to college to begin with, I would still not be a quitter today.

Zig Ziglar also said, “You can have everything you want in life if you just help enough others get what they want.” I truly believe that with every fiber of my being. I want to help others. I want to help you. It’s my duty. And, it’s your duty too.
We have a duty to use the skills we’ve been given to help others. You help others by creating quality content. You may choose to do it in the same fashion I do with blog posts. Or, you may enjoy doing videos on YouTube better. Whatever channel you choose to provide good, solid content to others is what you should stick to.
Some say “The market is saturated.” Maybe it is, maybe it isn’t. It doesn’t matter. Your uniqueness will build your brand. You create and provide tons of high-quality, high-value FREE content to people and your business will flourish. You will find people who enjoy your personality/style and will want to continue to learn from you.
This is how you build your successful business and attain the goals you have set forth. And, this is how you help others build the business of their dreams too. Tons of high-quality content is the key to the success of everyone. The more quality content you put out there, the faster your business will grow. It is the key to the success of you and also the key to the success of the people who want to learn from you.
Here is something most people don’t take into consideration when they are making a decision as to what they want to do to generate income. We all only get 24 hours in a day. If it takes the same amount of effort to sell an item that has a $5 profit as it does to sell an item that has a $500 profit, which one are you going to choose.
I used to have a collapsible plastic flask business. They were really cool. Everyone loved them. No more glass bottles at the lake, some used them to smuggle whiskey onto cruise ships or into the movie theater and many other applications.
Many people were sad when I folded that business up. It didn’t make sense for my time expenditure. The profit margin was too small. Did I love the product? Of course! But it didn’t make sense for me to be the one selling it. I learned this concept from one of my mentors. He says the day his business took off was when he added high-value, high-profit products to it.
By the way, if you are wondering about the back-story to my silly-looking hairstyle from this photo, you can learn how it came to be in the “About Me” section here. I also talk more about it in my exclusive eBook that you can get for free by clicking the link down below. I do this hair thing every year. Maybe you want to get in on that too. We have a ton of fun with it and lots of great things happen because of it.
